INFORMAL EDUCATION

LEPL Youth Agency annually implements youth camps (including thematic youth camps in Anaklia and in the vicinity of the Shaori Reservoir), in which young people aged 14-29, including those affected by conflict, are eligible to participate. Special quotas are allocated for individuals nominated by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia and the Administration of the State Representative in the Shida Kartli region to ensure their participation in the camps.


In addition, LEPL Youth Agency annually announces grant competitions aimed at strengthening youth organizations.


In 2026, one of the priorities of the grant competitions announced for youth initiatives (a grant competition for students) and for strengthening youth organizations is peacebuilding, as well as the creation and implementation of youth services for young people living in the vicinity of the occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali.
 

“Strengthening Youth Organizations” grant competition - the total budget of the competition is GEL 1,200,000. The maximum budget for one grant application is GEL 100,000. “Supporting Youth Initiatives” grant competition - the total budget of the competition is GEL 180,000. The maximum budget for one grant application is GEL 15,000. LEPL Youth Agency also implements the “Youth Events Support Program” throughout the year, within the framework of which young people affected by conflict are eligible to participate in planned and implemented activities.
